Hello from the vast expanses of Koraj. We have thusfar noted that New France holds no standing army. We have also noted the amount of food New France produces. This is why the Caliph most graciously offers to defend New France from any attacks, in exchange for food to be sent to the Caliphate. A second clause to this offer notes that your crime and punishment system lacks a set down punishment for major crimes. As such, the Caliph would kindly take the major criminals, to be punished here. If these terms are not agreeable, do inform me of a counter-proposal. If they are, troops can be mobilized and ready to be sent to protect New France tomorrow.

I also as the King of Coldlyn wish to extend my formal welcome to you, the Kingdom of New France, and hope that we as two nations will be able to increase the bonds of friendship between us. We hope that you settle down nicely, and hope to hear the Kingdom's view of what relationships are good to have between our two respective nations (eg Alliance, trade rights, military acces, you know the deal)
